كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان - بيت شبابهي وقف خاص لعائلة يمّين. بُنيت في مطلع القرن التاسع عشر، إذ يذكر المطران عبدالله بليبل أنّه رسم يوسف يمّين كاهنًا عليها سنة ١٨١١، الكنيسة عبارة عن عقد واحد ينتهي بحنية. جُدّدت حوالي سنة ١٨٦٣. سنة ١٩٤٢ بني الباب. رمّمت أخيرًا في مطلع الثمانينات.The church of St John the Baptist - Beit ShababThe church is a private chapel to the Yammine family. The church was built in the early XIXth century, the oldest trace of it dates to1811 when Bishop Abdallah Bleibel ordained Youssef Yammine as a pastor for the church. The church is a single crossed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The church was restored in 1863, the door was built in 1942. The church was completely restored in the eighties of the XXth century.

كُرّست الكنيسة سنة ١٨٤٧، وهي بالأصل بقايا معبدٍ رومانيّ. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ سريريّ. وُسّعت سنة ١٩٠٤ ورُمّمت سنة ١٩٨٨. تضمّ أيقونةً أثريّة محليّة للشهيدة بربارة. وبقرب الكنيسة ثلاث آبار لعائلات عمشيت الثلاث التي قدمت أوّلاً إلى البلدة

The church of St Barbra - Amshit

The structure served as a roman temple, it was consecrated in 1847. The church is a crib vault, it was enlarged in 1904 and restored in 1988. The church holds a local icon for the martyr. Near the church are three wells for the three families that came first to Amshyt.

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٥٥ في عهد البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد وكرّسها المطران سمعان عوّاد اسقف صيدا. هي اولى الكنائس المارونيّة التي بنيت في منطقة شرقيّ صيدا وساحل جزّين. تتميّز بهندستها البسيطة وبالنقوش على أعتاب أبوابها المنخفضة. خُرّبت إبّان الحرب الأهليّة وأعيد ترميمها في تسعينات القرن العشرين.

The church was built in 1755 during the pontificate of Patriarch Jacob Awad and was consecrated by Sidon’s bishop Simon Awad. It is the first maronite church in the vicinity of Sidon. The architecture is simple and doted with symbolic arabesque over the small narrow doors. During the civil war it was heavily damaged and restored during the nineties.
