كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان - بيت شبابهي وقف خاص لعائلة يمّين. بُنيت في مطلع القرن التاسع عشر، إذ يذكر المطران عبدالله بليبل أنّه رسم يوسف يمّين كاهنًا عليها سنة ١٨١١، الكنيسة عبارة عن عقد واحد ينتهي بحنية. جُدّدت حوالي سنة ١٨٦٣. سنة ١٩٤٢ بني الباب. رمّمت أخيرًا في مطلع الثمانينات.The church of St John the Baptist - Beit ShababThe church is a private chapel to the Yammine family. The church was built in the early XIXth century, the oldest trace of it dates to1811 when Bishop Abdallah Bleibel ordained Youssef Yammine as a pastor for the church. The church is a single crossed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The church was restored in 1863, the door was built in 1942. The church was completely restored in the eighties of the XXth century.

كنيسة السيّدة الجديدة - صربا الجنوب

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٤٦ وكرّسها المطران أغوسطينوس البستاني. بناؤها بازيليكيّ الطراز بثلاث أسواقٍ وحنية نصف دائريّة. رُمّمت الكنيسة بعد زلزال سنة ١٩٥٦، وأُضيفت إليها قبّة الجرس. تضمّ الكنيسة أيقونةً أورشليميّة عجائبيّة للسيّدة العذراء وهي التي حمت الأهالي خلال الحرب العالميّة الأولى.

The new Church of Our Lady - Sarba, South Lebanon.

The church was constructed in 1946 and consecrated by Archbishop Augustine el-Boustany. This basilical church features three naves and a semi-circular apse. Following the earthquake of 1956, the structure underwent restoration, and a bell tower was subsequently added to the church. Notably, the church houses an icon of the Theotokos from the school of Jerusalem, which is believed to possess miraculous properties. According to the local community, this icon protected the village during World War I, serving as a source of divine intervention and safeguarding.

كنيسة مار فوقا – أميون
كنيسة مار فوقا كنيسة أرثوذكسيّة تعود الى العهد الصليبيّ. شُيِّدت فوق معبد وثنيّ فوقه كنيسة بيزنطيّة تعود الى القرن السابع. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة، بثلاثة أروقة. تحوي الكنيسة جداريّات بيزنطيّة، تُمَثِّل السيد المسيح والعذراء مريم والرُسُل والقدّيسين، منهم مار فوقا ومار سمعان. دُفن في هذه الكنيسة قائد الجيش البيزنطيّ موريق، الذي أرسله الامبراطور يوستينيانوس لِقَمع تَمَرُّد الموارنة، وقتل في المواجهة التي حدثت في أميون بين الفريقين سنة ٦٩٤.

The church of St Focas - Amioun

The church of St Focas is a Greek Orthodox church built during the times of the Crusades, over a VIIth century Byzantine church built over a Roman temple. The church is basilical with three naves. It is decorated with medieval frescoes depicting Christ, the Theotokos, Apostles and other saints. In this church is buried the Byzantine commander Moricius sent by emperor Justinian to quell the Maronite’s revolt in 694, and died in the battle of Amioun.
